Dave killed the single track and rode for the win @ Truman's Big Love. Great job!
Matt James also fared very well, taking 14th overall in expert and 6th in age group. Matt used his honed technical skills to ride past his competition.
The highly-acclaimed Drew Black tore up the Sport Class with a very convincing win. Great job Drew!

In the TT, Chris Wallace won, with MATT PENCE in second. Wow, that kid has really improved in one year to take second at a huge stage race TT. Garrick and Alex rounded out the top 20. Team Shot

Long Overdue Update(s) AGAIN

Yeah, sorry for the lack of updates. Its the end of the academic year, so I've been distracted with school.

Congrats to Matt Keeven who won the treacherous Syllamo's revenge on a SS! That's 50 miles of tough terrain on a single speed. This guy is super strong. Way to go Matt!

TOUR OF STL!
The team came out strong and had a great weekend of racing. The jrs rolled bright and early to start the weekend off with a bang. The guys truly rode as a team and helped the younger guys out, setting Kyle and Joe up for the wins in their respective age groups.
The Masters rode valiantly and employed some great tactics over the weekend with Tracy taking the overall. Watch out for these guys...

The 4s was a chaotic race to say the least. The field was plagued with wrecks, taking a large part of the field down. Matt J and John finished top 20 on saturday in what was one of the most sketchy 4s races in a while.
Sunday was a different story. The race was fast and flat. Mesa rode on the front with Kyle and Matt F putting in some very good efforts. Joe tested the waters for a little bit but was reeled back in. Everyone finished with good results and no incidents. Once again, Matt J and John had awesome positioning going into the sprint. The 4s are starting to learn how to ride as a team and will be force to be wreckened with in the upcoming races.

Molly raced very well in the Womans, packed full of revolution girls. The highlight came with an excellent sprint for third on Sunday. Staci is starting to really improve and is in contention with the 4s.

In the 3s, Mesa dominated. The guys controlled the front and set an excellent tempo. Chris and Graham worked great together, with Chris taking the win. The guys made sure that these two stayed away. Adam dominated in the 3s TT, winning by a big margin. On Sunday, everyone got involved. Martin took a few fliers and rode on the front like a true teammate. Matt Pence showed his stuff and sacrificed for the team. Garrick and Josh did likewise. Adam won in a great sprint (jr gears) with Chris a few lengths behind. Mesa took 1,2,3 in the overall. Chris, Adam, Graham.

Mesa dominated in the 12s. Joe K, Adam Lang, and Matt Brandt, along with Andy Choca. Matt lapped the field taking 3rd and won the TT by 25s. The guys rode really well together on Sunday, setting Matt up for the break, which turned into the win. Matt took the overall with great help from his awesome teammates.

Thanks to Adrienne for making this weekend such a success!

Good luck to Matt in Europe!

Mountain Biking Domination

Our very own Dave Breslin has been at it again, along with the rest of the guys, tearing it up at races all over. Dave, Matt James, Drew Black, and Zach Brace all headed down to Tsali Trail, NC, to race AMBC and such. Dave took second in a very tough Expert 30-34 and beat a couple pros in the process. Drew Black took 8th in the sport 19-29. Way to go guys!

Dave and Drew also headed down to KY for some awesome single track racing. Dave rode valiantly through the course, putting the hurt on and came away with the Expert 30-39 win. Drew also did very well in the sport category. Way to go Guys!

Tour of Hermann

FICKSPHOTOS.COM

Mesa came out in force for the first annual Tour of Hermann, which included a time trial and a very hilly road race that wound its way around the picturesque wine country of Mid-Missouri.

In the TT, Chris Wallace took second in the 3s, with the rest of the jr squad not far behind. Logan finished in the top five and Matt was soon to follow. Everyone put forth a great effort, while trying to save something for what was to come. The elusive Ian Murphy was rumored to have made an appearence.

Fast forward to the next day which brought forth spectacular weather and an overall great day for racing. Once again, the orange crush showed their stuff in the 3s, with Chris Wallace winning in a convincing fashion. This couldnt have been down without his outstanding teammates in the race: Alex, Martin, Matt, Logan, Jan, and Garrick. Adrienne did a spectacular job leading the guys and controlling feeds. Molly raced in the women's pro 123 and did very well taking second against a field of Revolutionaries. Russ, Rick, Ethan, Tracy, and Ron controlled the Master's field putting forth great performances. Callum and Jon also did very well in their first races as 5s.

Dave Breslin and company opted to race the infamous Rim Recker (hint:name) @ Council Bluffs. Dave rolled through the course in an epic fashion for the win in the premier division.

Update

Starting with Hillsboro:
The team represented in the 3,4s at Hillsboro. Graham, Garrick, Logan, Martin, Matt, Alex, and Chris lined up for an epic race. From my understanding, a break was formed and the team worked tremendously to chase it down. Eventually, the team reeled them in and Chris and Garrick got into a rather large break. Chris and Garrick dropped the majority of the group. Chris put in a tremendous solo effort and rode away for the day in a very convincing manner. Garrick was close behind in third. Congrats to the guys for a stellar effort.

The Adams, Andy Choca, and Matt lined up for the P12. The race was very fast and caused things to split up fast. Matt placed 12ish on the day.

The Masters rode valiantly in a tremendously hard race that contained plenty of challenges.

The juniors were out in force with Josh and Christian along with Nate and jonathan.

More updates and pics coming very soon.

Congrats to Alex on the win in Kansas. Cat 3s-Mesa's Cat III team has proven to be a force to be reckoned with across the MidWest.

Long Overdue Update(s)

Okay, I (joe) haven't updated this in an insanely long time. Consequently, quite a few things worthy of posting have been left out.

Update on the IN guys:

Joe K. and Adam have been taking names while racing in numerous p,1,2s across the Ohio Valley. In the early-season L'Espirit, Joe K. and Adam got in an early break that stuck and finished 4th anf 6th respectively in the P12 field.Joe and Adam put in a hell of a fight in the Action Lake Road Race by hammering in yet another break and finished with very impressive 2nd and 5th. These guys have been putting up with seasoned riders such as Josh Carter and teams like Abercrombie and Fitch. Joe K and Adam have put in amazing efforts and are basically kicking ass.

Graham---------Graham has been patroling the threes in a rather convincing fashion and is showing that he means business. He started off the season with L'Espirit with a good finish and is in good form.info stolen from thier blogs......

Update

The orange (now white) crush kicked off the season with a bang. First up on the team's schedule was Froze Toes in Columbia, MO. The team had a very strong finish in the 3/4s with Chris Wallace taking the win in a convincing fashion and Matt Pence taking fourth in a very chaotic sprint. Their finishes were truly a team effort. Martin, Logan, Garrick, Josh, new teammember Kyle, Matt F, Alex, and Jan all put in tremendous work in order to secure the win.
Russ easily won the Masters with Lonnie putting in a signature leadout.

Adam Lang rode very strong in the P,1,2,3 finishing in the top-7.

Mesa rode very valliantly in the juniors field. Dylan, Joe, Nate, Callum, and Jon rode well over the 30+ mi. route. Joe took third with Callum in fourth. Dylan, Nate, and Jon also managed top ten finishes.

The Kansas-based sectar of the team raced yesterday and delivered. In the 3/4s Chris Wallace got in an early break that stuck and finshed in a close third. Garrick, Josh, and Alex also did very well finishing in the field.
